Church Street Regeneration

The Church Street regeneration aims to improve the quality of life of the people who live and work in the area. It will bring around 1,750 high quality new homes, greener and more pedestrianised spaces, and new community services to support the health and wellbeing of the local community.

We have been working with residents, businesses and neighbours of Church Street to progress a number of regeneration projects in the area and will continue to involve the community every step of the way.

You can find out more about the regeneration projects by clicking the link below.

Sites A, B & C Residents’ Ballot

Residents have voted in favour of proposals to regenerate Church Street Sites A, B & C. We held a residents’ ballot from November 19 to December 21 2022 to make sure the community supported our plans. We would like to thank all the residents who took part in the ballot.

The result saw 56% of residents take part in the ballot and 73.1% voted ‘yes’.

Church Street Masterplan

The Church Street Masterplan was published in early 2018 and outlines our vision for the area.

It aims to deliver real change by creating great places, opportunities for a healthy prosperous lifestyle, new homes and new jobs.

We will continue to work with the community as we develop these plans in more detail.
