The launch of Triangle Studios marks the completion of the old toilet block refurbishment and Triangle public realm improvements, which will provide affordable work and retail space. We have a fantastic selection of enterprises run by local people lined up. So far, we can confirm a fashion designer academy, jewellery designer, perfume makers, artists, toy makers and filmmakers that will make the Triangle their new home.
This abundance of creativity will be complemented by a youth engagement specialist and social enterprise Haven Coffee to run the café unit in the Triangle, who supports refugees in the UK. The launch event is an opportunity for new businesses to introduce and showcase their products and services to the local community, so please join us to say hello and show your support.

Haven provides coffee with a conscience, and this will be its second coffee shop in London. Usman Khalid, the owner of Haven Coffee said, “I am excited to be taking another step and opening our second café in the heart of Westminster on Church Street among a beautiful and diverse neighbourhood.”

As part of our continued engagement with the Church Street Community, we are teaming up with City Lions to produce artwork to be displayed on the hoarding on Site A. We are inviting local schools, youth groups and community groups to get involved and help create this community artwork to reflect what Church Street means to the community.
There will be series of workshops with an artist and participants can put down their ideas of what they would like to see go onto the hoarding.
Everyone is welcome to take part in one of these sessions and give your ideas. For more information, you can email us at churchstreet@westminster.gov.uk
The Church Street engagement team and JV Partner Mount Anvil enjoyed a chat and a coffee with parents at Christ Church Bentick school to talk about the Site A demo and upcoming plans for Church Street. This was our second coffee morning where we meet with parents and hear their thoughts about Church Street Regeneration and how they can stay informed and involved.
If you would like to know more about Church Street Regeneration projects, you can visit us at The Regeneration Space, 56 Church Street, call us on 0207 641 2968
We are proposing a new property licensing scheme to better manage private rented homes and address issues such as anti-social behaviour and poor housing conditions. Selective licensing will ensure that private rental properties are safe, well-managed, and meet legal standards, benefiting everyone, especially those in vulnerable situations. It will also help
reduce the anti-social behaviour that is sometimes associated with privately rented properties. We are committed to transparency and want to hear from all community members.
