SITE A UPDATE

The Church Street Partnership, a joint venture between the Council and Mount Anvil, which will build Site A, held a design update exhibition in May. Thank you to everyone who came along. The Church Street Partnership, a joint venture between the Council and Mount Anvil, which will build Site A, held a design update exhibition in May.

Thank you to everyone who came along. The team shared design developments for Site A, which aim to cut demolition and construction time and reduce the number of trucks that need to visit the building site.

A positive change as a result will see the new library grow slightly in size. There is also a change in the access level to the new library garden. We’ll consult residents on the internal layout and fit-out of the new library, including how the new library is best set up to ensure accessibility for everyone.

YOU’RE INVITED! SEE THE QUALITY OF BUILT MOUNT ANVIL HOMES FOR YOURSELF

Mount Anvil, the developer appointed by Westminster City Council to deliver the regeneration of Site A, is offering the opportunity for local residents to view homes previously built by them, free-of-charge.

A date is yet to be finalised but is likely to take place in July. There will also be further opportunities to tour Mount Anvil homes over the coming months for those unable to make this first date. The tour will last a half-day (with transport provided), visiting two schemes where residents will be guided by the Mount Anvil team around both the open, green space and into a selection of affordable homes.

Once you’ve registered (and we’ve a clearer idea of numbers interested), we’ll be in touch again to confirm a date as well as further details on the tour itself. All these tours will be accessible. Please email us for more information.

To register your interest in the tour, please email SiteA@mountanvil.com confirming your interest in attending a July tour date.

GREEN SPINE UPDATE

As you may have noticed whilst walking down Sailsbury Street and the Green Spine, the play and gym equipment
has now been removed and the pavement is due to be resurfaced.

This was due to feedback from residents living directly next to the location. We would like to thank all the residents who have worked with the Church Street Regeneration Team and wider colleagues from Westminster.
